Our history

How it all began...

In 2000, Gislotica was born in a modest 100m² garage.

The CEO, Engineer Rui Fazenda, worked in a factory where he constantly heard about the lack of partners available to meet some Company needs. So, faced with this window of opportunity, Rui Fazenda decided to take his father’s business, a metalwork’s shop, and turn it into an equipment factory to meet these needs.

Until, in 2003, a major project came to the company, requiring a larger space to work on a large scale. So Gislotica moved into an 800m² space, which they thought they would be in temporarily, but they ended up staying until 2014 and eventually, engineer Rui Fazenda decided to buy the premises, representing an investment of 1.6 million euros.

In 2019, the company Gislotica grew even more, totaling an area of 28000m², where the industrial space represents 2500 to 5000m². With this expansion, the company managed to obtain TUV certification in the ISO 9001 standard, which allowed a wider work space for the CVT industry, Agri and OTR equipment, AGV’s and conveyors.

The company specializes in the design, development and production of machinery for world-renowned tire manufacturers such as Continental AG, Goodyear, Pirelli, Nexen, Apollo, Michelin, Bridgestone, MRF, JK and many more.
