APV DOT/INSPECTION MARKERS
Dot markers are used to mark the high point of a tire, which rim assembly plants use to create optimum synchronization when mounting the tire.
Dot markers are available in a solvent-based or in water-based type and also in extra large size.
DOT MARKERS
- T-series of water-based and removable dots of highly-pigmented colors, thirteen in all, used to denote high point, conicity , etc. or to denote pass/fail as an inspection mark.
- D-series solvent-based version of the above, preferred by some vehicle manufacturers. Semi-permanent, they can be removed with solvent.
STANDADRD DOT MARKERS
- make a dot between 10 and 13mm diameter *
- EXTRA LARGE Dot Markers: make a dot between 17 and 23mm diameter *
- NEW – Smaller Dot Markers: make a dot between 5 and 8mm diameter *
- * depends on the down pressure applied to the tip onto the substrate being marked.

A dot marker normally gets between 5000 to 9000 dots per marker with normal use.
All dot markers should be shaken thoroughly before use.
Recommended order quantity is multiples of 12.
